CWU football very aware of three-way tie atop GNAC

Posted: Updated:

ELLENSBURG, Wash. -- Central Washington University football is locked in a tight conference race. The Wildcats are among three schools locked at 5-2 in the GNAC. Head coach Blaine Bennett talks about the urgency level now in crunch time of the regular season.

"Well it's about the same as it was last week, even though it's a three-way tie. Even last week everybody knew the three teams had to play each other. Now we're into that week eight and the three of us still have to play each other. We've all thought it would come down to this. Everybody's beating each other," Bennett said.

CWU visits one of those schools, Humboldt State, this Saturday.
