Adam Morrison Not Expected to Play in Blazers Preseason Finale

Updated:

The good news is, Adam Morrison is still with the Portland Trailblazers as the regular season approaches. Perhaps not good news – or perhaps it is – Morrison isn't expected to play in tonight's final preseason game.

Head coach Terry Stotts said he plans on tightening the rotation tonight against the Utah Jazz. Both Morrison and Coby Karl are believed to be the odd men out, and probably won't play.

Comcast Sports Net quoted Stott Thursday:

"They both [Adam and Coby] had good looks last game and I'm tightening the rotation," Stotts told CSNNW.com. "Those are two guys that are trying to make the team. Right now, tonight's game is about the guys who I know are going to be on the team for sure."

We'll see what happens after tonight's game in Salt Lake City.
