SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Spokane County Sheriff's Deputies and Spokane County Firefighters responded to a head-on crash at Bigelow Gulch Rd. and Weile Rd Tuesday evening.
Deputies say prior to the crash they received a call from a driver who reported a car swerving in and out of traffic driving westbound on Bigelow Gulch. It wasn't long after that call that the suspected drunk driver crashed head-on into a car in the eastbound lane.
A Spokane County Sheriff official says the driver who cause the crash was impaired and had to be extricated from his car. No word on his condition.
The driver of the other vehicle also suffered injuries, however the extent is unknown.
