Despite taking a week off before starting conference play the Eastern Eagles moved up one spot in the FCS top 25 poll released Monday.

Eastern Washington moved from No. 10 to No. 9, aided by a loss by Appalachian State to The Citadel on Saturday.

North Dakota State solidified its No. 1 ranking, followed by Montana State, Sam Houston State, Youngstown State and Old Dominion. Montana came in at No. 14.

Quarterback Kyle Padron leads Eastern Washington into Ogden this weekend to play Weber State in both teams' conference opener. Saturday's game starts at 5 p.m. (PT).
