MOSCOW, ID – The showdown that high school football fans have been waiting for, didn't live up to the hype. Skyline (WA) came into the Kibbie Dome on Saturday and walked away with 71-20 win over Coeur d'Alene (ID).
Skyline was led by quarterback Max Browne who helped spark the Spartans to a 29-0 run to open the game. The USC commit threw for six touchdowns and his team totaled ten trips to the endzone in a game that was never close.
Coeur d'Alene scored their first touchdown of the game late in the first when Gunnar connected Chase Blakely.
The 20 points put up by the Vikings was their lowest scoring output of the season.
