MOSCOW, Idaho -

The Vandals leave the familiarity of Idaho behind this weekend to take on the No. 3 LSU Tigers in Louisiana.

They certainly are in for a treat. When they enter Tiger Stadium there will be more than 100,000 faithful fans cheering from the stands. Idaho has played before a combined 28,000 spectators through two games.

Underdogs or not, Robb Akey's army embraces the opportunity to play in such a legendary venue.

And then there is the issue with the Tiger. The team keeps a live tiger in the stadium, and the tiger is mic'd for sound. Last year coach Steve Sarkisian brought a live tiger to practice in Seattle to get his team used to such antics. The Huskies lost 41-3.

Needless to say, Coach Akey didn't go searching for any tigers to bring to Moscow.
