SPOKANE, Wash. -

One of the leading rushers in the Great Northern League has decided to quit playing football at East Valley High School.

Multiple sources tell SWX Adam Talley quit the team on Thursday. His mother told the Spokesman-Review he quit because of a conflict with his job.

Talley is one of the leading scorers in the GNL and had more than 100 yards rushing against Post Falls last season.

East Valley plays Post Falls on Friday.

Isaiah Thomas brings his talents to the Southridge Sports Complex this weekend. The former Washington Husky, and current Sacramento King, is partnering with the city of Kennewick to put on an Elite Youth basketball camp for boys and girls ages 6 to 16.
