In the end it didn't really matter, but a player for Kent State will surely never live down his glaring mistake.

Andre Parker picked up a muffed punt return and ran 58 yards towards the wrong goal line before being tackled out of bounds. Lucky for him, it didn't matter because, by rule, a muffed punt can't be returned.

Kent State got the ball back on the 7-yard line where parker first scooped it up. The Golden Flashes went on to beat Towson 41-21.
