Washington kicked off fall camp on Monday, and Gonzaga Prep grad Bishop Sankey is looking to put his best foot forward in the preseason.

Sankey, now a sophomore in Seattle, is part of a talented offensive corps that includes quarterback Keith Price. Together, the duo could have a breakout season in 2012.

"I have two goals: to stay healthy and get better and better each day," said Sankey. "I can control what I can control and then do what is asked of me by the coaches and my teammates.

He continued, "there are a lot of young guys out here who are willing to step up and are trying to make their mark here in this 2012 football camp."

Washington to Meet Illinois in 2013

Bishop Sankey and the Huskies can mark their calendar for a non-conference matchup at Soldier Field in 2013. Washington and Illinois will play each other in Chicago on September 14 next year. It will be Illinois' second-ever game at Soldier Field. Their first game was against Washington State in 1994. They beat the Cougars 10-9 that year.
