RENTON, Wash. -

The quarterback battle in Seattle rages on, and rookie Russell Wilson is still in the mix.

The Seahawks completed the first week of camp in Renton over the weekend without a clear answer as to who will call signals from under center.

Wilson, though not he favorite for the job, remains in the discussion. If coach Pete Carroll were to give him the keys to the offense this season, he would become the first quarterback drafted in the third round to start a game in his rookie year since 2010.

"My goal is to have great attention to detail ever single time I step onto the field, also to have great attention to detail in the film room," said Wilson. "So, I'm taking tons and tons of notes – I'm always taking a lot of notes, but I'm doing that even more now."

Wilson has shared snaps with Matt Flynn and Tarvaris Jackson.

Carroll has been careful not to tip his hat as to who the top candidate is.
