Dust Devils lose to Hawks in series opener

The Tri-City Dust Devils lost to the Boise Hawks, 8-3 Friday night. Shane Broyles took the loss, pitching four and two-thirds innings, allowing five earned runs and six hits. Francisco Sosa had two hits and scored a run for Tri-City. The series continues in Boise Saturday night.
