Ex-Bulldog Steven Gray solidified his team-role as a shooter on Wednesday afternoon in Las Vegas.
After a spending the 2011-12 season with the Latvian-based Ventspils, Gray made positive impressions on the Washington Wizards organization as he averaged just over 6.5 points per game in the NBA's Las Vegas summer league.
In his third game coming off the bench the summer league invitee shot 3-7 from the field while logging 13:21 minutes of playing time against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Gray and the Wizards defeated the Bucks 78-75 thanks in large part to Gray's game-tying 22-foot jumper with 3:20 remaining.
Wednesday's game concludes the Wizard's 5-game summer league season.
