SPOKANE, Wash. -

The didn't make the playoffs, but the Spokane Shock can take at least some comfort in knowing they will finish the season as one of the best teams in the league – statistically speaking, of course.

The Shock came in at No. 7 in the final AFL Power Ranking of the season. San Antonio was first, followed by Philadelphia, Utah, San Jose, Arizona and Chicago.

The power rankings are calculated on a scoring system based on winning percentage, strength of schedule, scoring percentage and win streaks.

San Antonio grabbed the first spot after beating Arizona last week 62-61.
