SPOKANE, Wash. -

The Spokane Shock are hanging on by a threat in the AFL playoff chase.

Last weekend's blowout loss to Arizona gave the Shock an 8-7 overall record, dead last in the West Division standings. And there are just three games left to play.

If Spokane is going to grab one of conference's two wild card bids it will need to win out and get a whole lot of help.

"At least if we've got a chance that's what we're fighting for," said quarterback Kyle Rowley. "We need a little help from other people, but actually it's within sight right now. What we need to do is just make sure we take care of our business and right now that's beating Philadelphia."

"It's not a concern of mine," said head coach Andy Olson. "My focus is do the best we can to win this game and continue to build this team and hopefully get these guys back next year. Right now we're just focused on one game at a time."

The Shock have to beat the Philadelphia Soul on Sunday to keep their playoff hopes alive. That games is at 3 p.m. and can be seen on SWX, SWXRightNow.com and through the Syncbak app on mobile devices in Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
