Rodney Stuckey in Spokane: 'West Coast is Best Coast'

SPOKANE, Wash. -

Remember Rodney Stuckey? The dazzling point guard at Eastern Washington who went to the NBA and is now the engine that makes the Detroit Pistons go? Well, he sure remembers Eastern Washington.

Stuckey, now an NBA veteran, returned to Spokane over the weekend for Hoopfest. He also took part in the Jamal Crawford Charity Classic at Spokane Arena.

"Seattle is where I'm born and raised, I love the west coast," said Stuckey. "West coast is the best coast. That's how I see it."

As for who won the charity game on Sunday? Well, with no defense whatsoever, the White team – with Stuckey, Jeremy Pargo, and Klay Thompson - beat the Purple team 159-148.

The real winner, however, was the A PLUS Youth Program, a program that combines education, mentorship and basketball.
