BOISE, Idaho -- The Indians saw their four game win streak come to an end Thursday night, as the Hawks took revenge on their home field after being swept at Avista Stadium this week.

The Hawks used a six-run outburst in the fifth inning, capped by a grand slam home run by Dong-Yub Kim, to take a 9-2 lead, cruising to their largest win of 2012.

Boise plated a pair of runs in the opening inning as Marco Hernandez scored from third on a passed ball, with Krist scoring on a Contreras bloop single to right.

The Indians would get a run back in the third on a Preston Beck sacrifice fly, but Stephen Bruno doubled home a run in the fourth to extend the Boise lead to 3-1.

Leading 3-2 in the fifth, Boise's Krist and Contreras doubled home runs to give the Hawks a three-run lead, with Kim crushing a high-fastball for a grand slam. The six-run fifth inning by Boise ended a streak of 14 shutout innings by the Spokane bullpen.

Boise tacked on two in the sixth and one in the seventh, effectively smothering any chance of a Spokane comeback.

Spokane's Smerling Lantigua went 2-for-4 with a triple in the loss.

Tomorrow night, the Indians send Abel De Los Santos to the mound to face Boise's Willengton Cruz. Game-time is set for 7:15 pm.
