Former Washington State and New Orleans Saints star Steve Gleason is returning to the Northwest this month for a fundraiser golf tournament chock full of celebrities.

The Steve Gleason Classic, as its called, will be at The Golf Club at Blackrock in North Idaho on Monday, June 25.

Invited guests include Mark Rypien, John Stockton and former Saints teammate Scott Fujita. All the money raised goes to support the Gleason Initiative Foundation in support of individuals who are suffering the debilitating effects of ALS. The theme of the event is "No White Flags"

Gleason went public last year with the fact that he has ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
