Updated:
SPOKANE, Wash. -

The Zags have reportedly gained a highly touted guard/forward by way of a transfer. Gerard Coleman, from Providence, will transfer to Gonzaga.

The news was first reported Monday by Jim Meehan of the Spokesman-Review by way of Twitter.

Coleman, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard or small forward, reportedly chose Gonzaga over Xavier and Florida. He averaged 13 points and 5 rebounds a game last season with the Friars.

Coleman will have two years of eligibility left after sitting out this season per NCAA rules.
