Tri-Cities Fever prepare for final regular season game

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- One more regular season game for the Ti-Cities Fever. Saturday the number one seed Fever host the Wyoming Cavalry. The Fever sit at 11-2, while the Cavalry's record is 4-9, including two losses already to Tri-Cities. The Fever say they still take every opponent seriously.

"They're capable of scoring some points. Defensively is where they struggle sometimes. We've got to keep up with them. They've made some mistakes offensively. They throw some interceptions. If we can pressure their quarterback and make him run, that's where we think we'll have a lot of success," Fever head coach Adam Shackleford said.

"A record doesn't generally speak about a football team, their record or the way they play the football game. So you can't take anyone lightly, regardless of record, whether they're 10-1 or 1-10. You've just got to come out and play the game hard and play your best game," Fever defensive back Marquise Liverpool added.
