The Detroit Lions re-signed special teams specialist Maurice Stoval to a one year deal this week, and cut former Washington State receiver Jared Karstetter to make room for him.
Karstetter was an undrafted free agent signing for the Lions. He participated in the team's voluntary practices and OTAs.
Before Washington State, Karstetter, from Spokane, played at Ferris High School. He was named All-State in both his junior and senior seasons.
