TONS of Fish to Catch at West Medical Lake

MEDICAL LAKE, Wash. - For the casual fisherman in Eastern Washington, West Medical Lake just west of Spokane is a real gem.

The lake was recently stocked with several thousand rainbow trout. Needless to say, the fishing has been hot for the past couple of weeks.

One of the nicest things about fishing West Medical Lake is that they expect you to catch fish, so it's stocked regularly. It's stocked in March, it's stocked in April and re-stocked in June. The fish aren't very big, but there have been several 18-21" inchers taken recently.
