KENNEWICK, Wash. -- For the first time this season the Tri-Cities Fever open practice after a loss. Saturday the Sioux Falls Storm beat down the Fever 55-16.
That moves Tri-Cities to 9-1 on the season -- still in first place in the division. Now they just look ahead to getting back on the road to Wyoming. The Fever say not much has changed at practice despite this being the first time recovering from a loss all season.
"For us it was pretty much the same thing. At the end of the day, that's another game, whether we win or lose. We've still got to prepare for next week's opponent. So we can't harp on the loss too much," running back Dennis Kennedy said.
"A loss doesn't change the way you do things. It might change the way you feel the next morning, but we've talked to guys about going out and playing well and still proving that we're a good football team," head coach Adam Shackleford added.
