SPOKANE, Wash. -

The Shock continue to make adjustments to their roster in the days leading up to Friday's game against New Orleans. Among the additions: linebacker Levi Madrieta and defensive lineman Mike Alston, two players who know a thing or two about Spokane.

Madrieta was a member of the Shock team that won the af2 championship in 2006. Alston played with the Shock earlier in the season and was a member of the team last season. Chris Tucker, also added on Wednesday, was on the Shock roster during training camp in March.

The moves were meant to shore up a team that has been depleted by injury. On Wednesday the team placed offensive lineman Palauni Ma'Sun and defensive lineman Jonathan Williams on Injured Reserve, meaning they will be out of the lineup for at least four weeks.

The Shock host New Orleans Friday at 8 p.m. at Spokane Arena. The game can be seen on SWX, SWXRightnow.com and on mobile devices through the Syncbak app.
