SPOKANE, Wash. -

Quarterback Adam Froman is gone. Quarterback Rob Kass is in. And that's just one of the many roster changes the Spokane Shock made in preparation for this weekend's game against the New Orleans VooDoo.

Kass will reportedly be the backup to Kyle Rowley. But the Shock also placed cornerback Vonzell McDowell on reassignment, put offensive lineman Cory Brandon on Other League Exempt and said linebacker Beau Bell is headed for Injured Reserve for the next several weeks.

In addition, both receiver Adron Tennell and defensive lineman Brandon Sharpe were placed on League Suspension. Sharpe's suspension came after he was ejected from last week's game for a late hit on Blaze quarterback Tommy Grady, and for touching an official.
