SPOKANE, Wash. -

With just a few days left until Bloomsday, organizers are eagerly seeking volunteers to help it all go smoothly.

They are looking for people who can help with check-in, t-shirt distribution and work in the lost and found area.

Number distribution takes place at the Spokane Convention Center in two shifts – both on Saturday. Organizers say they especially need more volunteers to work the morning hours. No experience is necessary.

About 200 volunteers are needed to help hand out t-shirts to finishers on Sunday. Volunteers will unload shirts and hand them out. For more information, go to the race website at http://www.bloomsdayrun.org/

Those running the lost and found area are looking for a group with at least six members to help in that area. Volunteers should arrive around 7 a.m. and will be finished around 2 p.m. If you have a group that can help, call the Bloomsday office at (509) 838-1579 (ext. 10).
