RUPERT, Idaho (AP) - The remains of an Army soldier who was killed in Black Hawk helicopter crash in Afghanistan are being returned to his family in Rupert, Idaho.
Thirty-three-year-old Sgt. Chris J. Workman died April 19 when the helicopter he was in crashed in bad weather during a night flight in southern Afghanistan.
Workman's body will be transferred to his family during a private honorable transfer ceremony at Boise's Gowen Field on Monday.
A public funeral service is scheduled for Thursday in Eagle, and a public interment is set for Friday in Rupert.
