It is not news that top-level athletes train year-round to maintain or reach that next level. What is different, however, is that some of them has chosen to train in an out-of-the-way, almost hidden location in Spokane, Washington.
APX Strength works with athletes like NFL hopeful Jared Karstetter, Reds AAA pitcher Travis Webb and big leaguer Jeremy Affeldt – just to name a few. Founded somewhat by chance by Drew Buchkowski when he came across Karstetter's father buying supplements for his son, trainers work with athletes at all levels from high school to the pros. Buchkowski began by working with athletes at Ferris High School, and has since expanded to other schools at all levels.
