SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -

The Spokane Shock are trying to rekindle the magic they felt two weeks ago in their first and only home win of the season. They just hope to get that loving feeling back sooner rather than later. Like, in time for Saturday's game at Jacksonville would be nice.

The momentum the team gained against Milwaukee has been somewhat sidetracked due to the forced bye week – their second and last break of the season.

Now, at 2-3 on the season, the Shock have a chance to get back to winning this weekend in

"The last bye week we came off pretty sloppy against San Jose, so we're really harping on them on the mental aspect of the game: being focused, making sure we're being in tune to what's going on, listen to our coaches and learning," said coach Andy Olson.

Olson said practice has gone well this week, and players appear to be focusing as they should.

"It's really hard to keep that momentum when you have that bye week, we just want to come out and establish new momentum and add it onto what we did last time," said defensive back Terrance Sanders.

The Shock play at Jacksonville at 4 p.m. (PT) on Saturday. The game can be seen on SWX-TV, SWXRightNow.com and on the Syncbak app for smartphones in the Eastern Washington and North Idaho regions.
