Former Iowa State Center Chooses Washington State

Updated:

Former Iowa State center Jordan Railey made it clear on Tuesday: he's going to be a Cougar.

Christian Caple of the Spokesman-Review spoke with the Oregon native and published this story in Wednesday's paper. A blog featuring a Q&A can be found here.

Railey decided to leave Iowa State in March. He called it a mutual understanding due in part because he wasn't getting the playing time he wanted.

The 6-foot-10 center was originally recruited by coach Ken Bone before he chose Iowa State. But Railey said he didn't have the grades to get into WSU at the time.
