SPOKANE, Wash. -

Shake it off, shake it off. The Shock are moving much better now ahead of their game against Jacksonville in Florida this weekend.

The team, admittedly, came into practice a little rusty after taking their second and last bye week of the season. Monday's practice was lackluster to say the least. Tuesday's workout, the team says, was much better.

"The focus was phenomenal, we were very efficient on offense," said head coach Andy Olson. "We got a couple of guys beat up, unfortunately. Even after a bye week you wouldn't think that would happen. We're a little rusty right now, but we're in a good position for Tuesday."

"It was one of our best offensive practices since I've been here," said quarterback Kyle Rowley. "I've been getting a lot of reps just because we have just one quarterback this week, so I feel good."

"Coming off the bye week the object of the week is to knock some rust off and get sharper at the same time," added defensive back Terrance Sanders.

Saturday's game is a unique opportunity for Spokane's offense, as the Shark's defense has been suspect this season. They are 3-3 so far this season, with losses to Georgia (69-41), Tampa Bay (71-69) and Utah (75-67).

Saturday's game in Jacksonville is a 4 p.m. (PT) start, and it will be broadcast on SWX and SWXRightNow.com, as well as on the Syncbak app for viewers in Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
