Officials at the Cascade County Detention Center tell NBC Montana that officers arrested Leaf on charges of felony burglary, misdemeanor theft and felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs. We are told the arrest happened at the Cascade County Probation Office.

Officials say he is free on bond after posting $76,000.

Leaf is a Great Falls native and was a quarterback for Washington State University and San Diego Chargers. He was recently in Montana for a book tour and sat down with NBC Montana's Kayla Anderson last week.
