The Spokane Shock announced today that OL John Stipek has been added to the roster and OL Isaiah Agson has been placed on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.

Stipek, 6-4 320, will enter his first year in the Arena Football League. Prior to his professional career, Stipek made a name for himself at Michigan State where he was a three-time letter winner. As an incoming freshman, Stipek saw action on the field as a defensive lineman (playing in four of the last five games) but was converted to the offensive line as a sophomore, lining up at the center position.

During his career as a Spartan, Stipek saw action in 26 games total and started in 16 of them.

"The Big-10 experience Stipek gained at Michigan State will make the transition into the AFL easier for him," General Manager Ryan Rigmaiden said. "He has good size and we are anxious to introduce him to the Arena Football League."

The Shock will open up the 2012 season on Monday, March 12th hosting the Iowa Barnstormers. Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by contacting the Shock office at 509 242 7462. Single game tickets are also on sale now and can be purchased through TicketsWest.

Adron Tennell believes the Shock are finally hitting their stride. After giving the Philadelphia Soul a thorough beat-down on Friday night, he has good reason to think that.

For quarterback Kyle Rowley, Friday's outcome has already been decided. The Shock will beat Philadelphia. He didn't say the word "guarantee", but he sure talked like he meant it.
