The Spokane Shock added WR Justin Ore and DB LeMetrius Davis to the 2012 roster. In other roster moves, the Shock placed WR Charles Frederick on Physically Unable to Perform list while QB Ryan Colburn was placed on re-assignment.

Last season, the 6-foot-3 200 pound Ore was with the Utah Blaze. In Utah, Ore made the most of his opportunities scoring seven touchdowns, while collecting 26 receptions for 338 yards, in just three games. Prior to Ore's professional career, he received All-Conference Honors at Western Oregon and hauled in 70 receptions for 1,331 yards and 14 TD's in his career.

At 5-11 190, Davis will enter his first season in the AFL. He attended the University of Hawaii where he registered 96 tackles with three interceptions during his career as a Warrior. Before he transferred to Hawaii, Davis attended Butte Community College and captured the 2008 Championship and a perfect 12-0 regular season record.

"Both of these players looked great on film and now they have a chance to prove themselves," General Manager Ryan Rigmaiden said. "Training Camp is not very long, but we will continue to refine our roster to prepare for the upcoming season."

The Shock will open the 2012 season on March 12th hosting the Iowa Barnstormers.

Adron Tennell believes the Shock are finally hitting their stride. After giving the Philadelphia Soul a thorough beat-down on Friday night, he has good reason to think that.

For quarterback Kyle Rowley, Friday's outcome has already been decided. The Shock will beat Philadelphia. He didn't say the word "guarantee", but he sure talked like he meant it.
