The Celtics' Rajon Rondo was tossed from a game for throwing a ball at an official.
So the question in basketball circles on Monday is whether Rajon Rondo should have been ejected of the Celtics' game against Detroit on Sunday. Should he have been tossed?
The ejection happened when Rondo got upset about a no-call. He drove the lane, got hammered and the referee held his whistle. As the play cleared, Rondo gave a glare and tossed the ball underhand at the official. The official threw Rondo out of the game.
The NBA on Monday said Rondo would be suspended for two games without pay for the outburst. It was the first time in his career that he has been ejected from a game. he will miss Monday's game at Dallas and Wednesday's game against Oklahoma City.
The Rondo have been tossed? Or was it an overreaction by the official?
