The Bengals, making their third consecutive appearance in the Idaho Class 5A title game, limited the Patriots to eight points in the second half thanks to their tough defense and clock-milking offense.

Lewiston finishes the season at 22-4. Prior to last year's championship, the Bengals hadn't won the title since 1976.
