Posted: Updated:

The Spokane Chiefs dropped their 4th straight game as Tri City rallied from a 2-0 first period deficit to defeat the Chiefs 3-2 Saturday night in Kennewick.

Spokane took a 1-0 lead on Liam Stewart's power play goal at 5:28 of the first period. Stewart's 10th goal of the year was assisted by Corey Baldwin and Dylan Walchuk. The Chiefs would extend the lead to 2-0 just 19 seconds later as Marek Kalus scored on a rebound. Kalus' 17th goal of the year came from Darren Kramer and Mike Aviani. Tri City would cut the lead to 2-1 as Brendan Shinnimin scored a power play goal at 14:01 of the first.

In the second, Shinnimin would score his second power play tally of the night at 14:55 to tie the game at two. Just 53 seconds later, Derek Ryckman scored on a slap shot from the point for the game winning goal. Spokane had an opportunity on the power play late in the third, but Kramer's net front shot hit the post and Tri City claimed their 6th win over Spokane in 9 meetings this year.

The Chiefs will finish off their 3 games in 3 nights on the road Sunday in Seattle. Mike Boyle will have the call on 1510 KGA beginning with the pre-game show at 4:30pm and the puck drop at 5:05pm.
