Tri-City Americans beat Seattle Thunderbirds, 5-2

SEATTLE, Wash. -- The Tri-City Americans defeat the Seattle Thunderbirds Friday night, 5-2. Tri-City had two goals apiece from Connor Rankin and Brendan Shinnimin. Adam Hughesman scored the other Tri-City goal. Connor Hooney scored both goals for Seattle. Ty Rimmer stopped 36 shots to get the win in net. Saturday The Americans visit the Spokane Chiefs.
