Reardan, Davenport Stay Alive in 2B Districts

SPOKANE, Wash. -
SPOKANE, Wash. -- Reardan was among the high school basketball teams keeping its postseason hopes alive in district basketball on Wednesday night.  The Indians used an 18-1 first quarter to beat St. George's, 56-39, in a loser-out game in District 7 2B Northeast play in boys basketball. 
 
The Davenport boys beat Lind-Ritzville/Sprague, 53-51, in a dramatic finish as the Gorillas kept in postseason contention.  Joey Gunning had the game-winning steal and basket in the final seconds to seal the victory.
