Washington State long snapper Zach Koepp was arrested in Pullman on Sunday after allegedly running from police.
Koepp, from Iowa, was seen in the area after police received reports of someone throwing rocks at the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity house shortly after midnight. The Spokesman-Review reported he ran but slipped on some mud and hit his head on a metal grate covering a gas meter.
Police charged Koepp with obstructing a pubic servant – a gross misdemeanor. He was cited and released, according to the report.
Koepp will be a redshirt senior next year. He appeared in 10 games last year as the team's long snapper.
