CHENEY, Wash. -

There just are not many players in the Big Sky better than Brianne Ryan. For the third time this season the Big Sky Conference named the senior guard its Player of the Week.

Last week Ryan scored 33 points to lead Eastern Washington to a 78-45 rout of Weber State – the team's largest margin of victory this season against a Division I program. With the win, the Eagles improved to 10-2 in the Big Sky, good enough for second place behind Idaho State (11-1).

Ryan's career-tying 33-point performance was the fourth time this season she has scored more than 30 points. She was 13-of-20 from the field and was nearly perfect from the free throw line. She also grabbed five rebounds and had a game-high five steals in 29 minutes of play.

Eastern plays just one game this week: at Northern Colorado. Their remaining games are against Portland State, followed by back-to-back games against Idaho State.
