Whitworth hosts second-place Puget Sound Friday night in Spokane (Photo: Whitworth Athletics)
A loss Friday night by Whitworth wouldn't take them out of first place in the Northwest Conference, but it would sure make things interesting.
No. 10 The Pirates (9-1) host Puget Sound in Spokane Friday night – a game shown live on SWX and SWXRightnow.com at 8 p.m.. The Loggers (7-3) are tied with pacific Lutheran for second place in the NWC.
A Puget Sound win would bring them closer to the Bucs and would probably force them out of the Top 10 in the D3Hoops.net national poll.
The Whitworth women's team plays Puget Sound Friday at 6 p.m. That game will also be shown on SWX – both on TV and online.
