SPOKANE, Wash. -

Gonzaga faces a tough road test this week against the team trying to catch them in the conference standings.

The Zags, on a four-game winning streak, are well rested as they head to Provo to play BYU on Thursday.

The last time the two teams met a player by the name of Jimmer Fredette scored 34 points in a dominating 89-67 win in the third round of the NCAA Tournament. But this is a tough Bulldog team – and one hungry for revenge.

"No question, they took our dreams away from us last year, so we're kind of hungry for [revenge]," said senior Rob Sacre. "It's a big game. They need this win and we also need this win."

"I remember the feeling when the buzzer went off and they beat us," recalled guard Marquise Carter. "I've been thinking about that moment ever since it happened. Playing them at their house is a big opportunity for us to redeem ourselves, but also just to go in and show what kind of team we are."
