Gonzaga Women Move Up in Polls

After avenging a loss to Saint Mary's on Saturday the Gonzaga women's team find themselves a little higher up the picking order. The Bulldogs are No. 20 in the AP Top 25 poll released on Monday.

The Zags (19-3) beat Saint Mary's 75-70 on Saturday after losing 66-63 earlier in the season. The Bulldogs only other two losses are to No. 5 Stanford and USC.

Gonzaga hosts Portland (8-15) on Thursday and San Diego on Saturday. The game against San Diego will be shown live on SWX beginning at 2 p.m.

BYU, the other WCC team in the polls also rose one spot to No. 22. The two teams play each other Feb. 9 in Provo and Feb. 25 in Spokane.
