SPOKANE, Wash. -- Led by two thundering dunks from freshman forward Luke Ewans, Community Colleges of Spokane powered its way to an 84-74 victory over Walla Walla on Wednesday. Evans and fellow CCS big man Marlowe Brim combined to score 34 points and pull down 13 rebounds in the victory. Preston Wynne, the sixth-leading scorer in NWAAC, paced the Sasquatch with a team-high 20 points as Spokane improved to 4-1 in league play.
The Lady Sasquatch lost to Walla Walla earlier in the day, 63-47. Former Lakeside (WA) standout Leslie Stillar led the Warriors with a career-high 28 points and drained six 3-pointers in the win.
