When Washington State faces the Waves of Pepperdine on Thursday in the Cougar Hardwood Classic, they'll face them a little bigger and a little stronger.

Faisel Aden, Abe Lodwick and Mike Ladd are now in the mix for the Cougars after sitting out for a while. Lodwick, recovering from a broken foot, played 14 minutes in the win over Western Oregon. Ladd played about the same amount of time and had six points. And Aden, after suffering a concussion, scored 23 points for the Cougars.

In all, ten players for Washington State finished in double figures in their last outing. Head coach Ken Bone said he finally has a bench he can count on.

"It's great to have guys who are on the bench who are healthy," said Bone. "We have a longer bench with different guys to go to."

"We don't really know, matchup-wise – we're probably not going to use everybody, but just having that in your back pocket is always good – to know you have extra people who can come in," said guard Marcus Capers.

Thursday's game against Pepperdine tips off at 7 p.m. in Seattle.
