BELLEFONTE, Pa. - Ex-Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky is out of jail after posting bail a day after being hit with new child sex abuse charges.
Sandusky left a Pennsylvania county jail Thursday in a grey sedan after securing his release with $200,000 in real estate holdings and a $50,000 certified check provided by his wife.
Under the terms of his release, Sandusky will be subject to electronic monitoring.
Sandusky was jailed Wednesday on 12 new charges of child sex abuse after a grand jury report released details of testimony from two new alleged victims. In all, Sandusky faces more than 50 charges and is accused of molesting 10 different boys.
He maintains his innocence.

Former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky was taken from his home in handcuffs by the Centre County District Attorney's Office in Pennsylvania on Wednesday.
Sandusky, already facing several allegations he abused young boys, was arrested on a new sex abuse charge brought by two new accusers, the Associated Press reported. The new charges include four counts of deviate sexual intercourse and two counts of unlawful contact with a minor.
The new charges bring the total number of alleged victims to 10 people, according to a report from CNN.
Wednesday's news came after news broke that Sandusky was denied a voluntary coaching position by Juniata College in May 2010. A spokesman for the school said a background check revealed a high school was investigating him on sex abuse violations later detailed by a grand jury. He allegedly abused a boy at Central Mountain High School while working as a volunteer, and charges stemming from that allegation were filed against him last month.
Officials at Juniata College said Sandusky did not mention the investigation on application forms.
