Early Saturday morning, a tentative agreement was announced between the NBA and the Player's Association.
While the deal still has to be ratified by the owners and the players, everyone seems optimistic about the future of the 2011-2012 season, which, baring a rejection of the deal, would see camps starting Dec. 9th and 66 games starting Dec. 25th.
The deal calls for a reformation of the player's union and a 50/50 split of basketball related income. Details of the plan can be found on NBA.com.
