One thing is certain: Mead will be the No. 1 seed from the GSL going into the playoffs against the Big 9. Who the Panthers will play in that first-round game won't be known until Tuesday night after Wenatchee, Davis and Richland play a three-way mini-tiebreaker contest in Moses Lake.
All three teams have identical 3-3 conference records, creating a logjam for the third playoff position.
Game 1 at 6 p.m. will be Wenatchee vs. Davis, with the winner advancing to play Richland. The games will consist of two eight-minute halves with an eight-minute halftime.
The No. 3 seed will be the winner of Game 2 and will advance to play Mead in Spokane on Friday at 5:30. That game will be televised LIVE on SWX and webcast on SWXRightNow.com. The No. 4 seed will go to the winner of the league contest between the two remaining teams.
During the regular season, Richland beat Wenatchee; Davis beat Richland; and Wenatchee beat Davis.
What if.....
- If Richland wins the No. 3 seed: Wenatchee is No. 4
- If Wenatchee wins the No. 3 seed: Davis is No. 4
- If Davis wins No. 3 seed: Richland is No. 4
