Adam Morrison will once again be paid to play basketball. In Serbia.
The former Gonzaga star signed with the Serbian club Crvena Zvezda, according to a report from ESPN. A YouTube video surfaced earlier this month showing him overseas and answering reporters' questions.
"I'm going to play hard and help the team win," he said in the interview.
According to the report on ESPN, Morrison's contract does not include an NBA opt-out clause, so he will play in Serbia for the entire season.
Morrison was the No. 3 pick in the 2006 draft. He spent a little more than 2 seasons with the Charlotte Bobcats before being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers where he mostly sat the bench – and won two championship rings.
