Like many professional athletes, when Alex Prugh isn't playing golf he is trying to make the community better. He was in his hometown of Spokane over the past weekend to promote First Tee Inland Northwest, his foundation that helps young children learn valuable life lessons through the game of golf.
"It's a great program that gets younger kids of all ages and all backgrounds the ability to play golf and enjoy a game that I love," said Prugh during an interview with SWX's Sam Adams.
Prugh, now a fixture on the PGA Tour, said he is currently working on his mental approach to the game.
"It's more or less 'play golf', don't overthink it," he said.
